31/12/2015 1 Comment Racing horses then and now . . .Here's an interesting graphic from a book written in 1906 called Horse Breeding in England and India and Army Horses Abroad. Today's thoroughbreds average 16 hands so they have "grown" about 8 inches (20cm).

21/12/2015 1 Comment Chico the curious . . .When we first brought him in Chico was quite timid and would hide behind Lassie when we were cleaning their stable. But now he's getting interested in what's going on.
